| Abstract: | Dolomite is calcined by preheater/rotary kiln and high quality soft-burnt dolomite is used as the raw material for the production of magnesium metal. The process is characterized by large production capacity, high level of mechanizaion, simple maintenance and operation, high reactivity of soft -burnt dolomite, low LOI and high magnesium metal extraction rate. |
