| Abstract: | Microwave sintering of ceramics has the characteristics of quick densification, fine grains and homogeneous microsructure. In the present paper, factors affecting microwave sintering of TZP ceramics have been investigated in detail and compared with conventional sintering of this material. In special, mechanical properties, contents of tetragonal phase and microstructure were studied to analyze the features of microwave sintering. |
