Abstract:As the primary means of communication in Long-distance and complex terrain, shortwave communication equipments are widely used in broadcasting, military and other fields. In shortwave data communications system, there is long communication delay caused by the low communication rate, and data loss caused by large volumes of data in the source. This paper discusses a variety of delay factors, and presents a new method to improve the performance of shortwave communica- tion. The method by improving the interface speed and estimating the delay in data-packet, can control the time delay and discarded packets, prevents the randomness of data loss in channels, and is a low cost, easy to implement, open Loop control method.
