Innovative Exploration of the Course Teaching for Corrosion and Protection of Materials

Corrosion is one of the key issues that severely persecute the field of engineering; thus, the investigation about the corrosion and protection of materials has never ceased yet. Under this background,the Corrosion and Protection of Materials has been set as a compulsory course for the majors of materials and chemical engineering in the universities. The aim is to systematically clarify the basic concepts and important theories of corrosion, together with the fundamental principles and common means of protection to the students. It needs to innovatively explore the course teaching for the Corrosion and Protection of Materials based on the teaching contents and means, along with the examination forms. Furthermore, the latest development at home and abroad about the field of corrosion and protection is also put into course teaching to enhance the teaching quality and guide the students to think and study.
