The Production of Reticulated Polyurethane Foam by Explosion Method

The flexible polyurethane slabstock foams were prepared by water blown formula, which are base on polyether polyol, polymer polyol, toluene diisocyanate and additives. The foam was put inside the steel mould, then oxygen and hydrogen are pressed in the mould. After they mix uniformly, the gas is ignited, the reticulated foam is obtained. The basic recipe of the slabstock foam, the process of explosion technology, and the mechanical properties of the reticulated foam are introduced. And the amount and the mixing time of oxygen and hydrogen are discussed.
