| Abstract: | Tolerance design and structure optimization during the automotive research and development are the important ap-proaches of realizing manufacturing fineness and precision .Theoretical and practical methods for evaluating the assembly toler-ances are systematically discussed, as well as the workflow and importance of simultaneous dimensional engineering process is introduced .Dimensional functional analysis and perceived quality assessment should be applied to improve the whole dimen-sional design quality and evaluation process. |
