The Application of SDRAM Controller in the PDP Video System

The paper introduces the application of SDRAM and its general controller based on FPGA in the PDP video storage system.It shows the control timing and the function realized by the SDRAM control command particularly.The general controller brought forward is not only suitable for the specifically storage operation,but also any complex system.The user can provide simple top-layer control command according to his requirement to control SDRAM rightly.The design of the SDRAM general controller is also introduced.In the PDP video system,,two sets of SDRAM are used with ping-pong operation realized with proper state machine and data will be send to SDRAM and PDP panel uninterruptedly.
