Abstract:Finger vein recognition is a high-end method of the second generation biometric identification.In order to realize the small size of equipment,aiming at independence of the embedded system,Finger vein recognition system based on ARM11and Windows CE is designed and implemented.The finger vein images are acquired from digital camera of ARM11,and image preprocessing and feature extraction are conducted by application software,and the feature is matched with corresponding template in the database of finger vein images made by ourselves,finally identity authentication is completed.Experimental results show that the system has real-time、rapidity and portability.And the method presented achieves even high recognition accuracy.
