THE DISTRIBUTION OF IGNEOUS ROCKS IN THE EASTERN FAULT ZONE OF XIHU SAG

The eastern fault zong of Xihu sag is located in the west of Diaoyu Island uplift zone, including Tianzhu low-altitude faults and Pingfen high-altitude faults. By means of comprehensive analyses of gravity-magnetic anomaly, seismic sections and surrounding geological data in the East China Shelf Basin, it is believed that the eastern fault zone can be divided into 3 segments: the North, the Middle and the South. The distribution of igneous rocks can be described that the North segment is characterized as the end of Oligeocene intermediate-basic eruptive rocks;the Middle and the South segments as the end of Miocene intermediate-acidic intrusive rocks. However, the Middle segment is distributed with a few intermediate-basic eruptive rocks.
