This paper first elaborates the current situation of urbanization in Dongguan city, analyzes the current problems in urbanization process of Dongguan city, and il ustrates the necessity of the new urbanization development strategy and path selection. Then from the three aspects of culture, economy, and resources, the author analyzes the new urbanization dev-elopment strategy and the development path that suitable for dongguan.
