摘    要:采用废气再循环来降低氮化物的排放,目前已成为轻型车和轿车用柴油机排放达标的重要措施,本文以英国福特汽车公司在其1.8LTCI轿车用柴油机上所采用的废气再循环系统为例,详细介绍了相同类型的柴油机所用的废气再循环的控制原理,工作特点及其故障诊断的方法,为我国柴油机更好地利用这一技术来减少氮氧化物排放以满足日趋严格的排放法规提供一些借鉴。

Abstract:Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) is an effective means to reduce nitride oxidations from the diesel engines on passenger cars and light duty trucks.Taking the EGR system used on a British Ford diesel engine with 1 8 litter displacement,turbo charged and indirect injection combustion system (TCI) for example,this paper describes the control principles,operating charateristics,and diagnosis of the EGR system used on similar diesel engines in detail.The goal of the paper is to introduce the EGR system on diesel engines to China for the sake of meeting more and more stringent exhaust emissions regulations in the future.
