Abstract: | ABSTRACTMathematics Education in the Digital Era is a title that implies the ubiquity of digital technology in our everyday lives. In fact, it can be argued that digital technology is already ubiquitous for many stakeholders in mathematics education. Volume 2 of this series is titled The Mathematics Teacher in the Digital Era, which implies an exploration of the mathematics teacher as individual agent or actor in the experience of teaching and learning mathematics. What is exciting is the book editors' potentially unintended insights into teachers' affective sense, their beliefs, and their subsequent decisions for future pedagogical effort. |
