| Abstract: | The purpose and effect of vacuumizing in EPC process was introduced. The key points of the vacuum pump installation operation, common problems and their solution measures were described. The reason causing the vacuum degree decrease was explained, the influence of the vacuum degree too high or too low on the casting quality was analyzed. It was pointed out finally that the vacuum pump should be chosen according to the production volume and the casting size. |
