硅基液晶(LCOS)与动力学响应特性

摘    要:文章在实验上给出了硅基液晶(LCOS)所用90°MTN的反射率一时间响应曲线,引入了光学响应意义上的上升时间和下降时间,并基于液晶动力学理论和Jones矩阵方法对60°MTN盒进行了数值计算,证实了上升时间随电压增加而减小,下降时间不依赖于初始电压,同时指出了光学响应时间与指向矢取向时间的区别。

Abstract:Time-dependent reflectance of the 90°MTN cell used in liquid crystal on silicon (LCOS) is given experimentally. Rise time and decay time for optical response are introduced. Numerical calculations are made for the 60°MTN cell, based upon the dynamics of liquid crystals and the method of Jones matrix. It is demonstrated that rise time decreases with the increasing of the voltage and decay time is independent on the initial voltage. It is pointed that the difference between the optical response time and the director reorientation time.
