| Abstract: | In the presence of PTC. the synthesis of 2-ethoxylphenol using the catechol and chloroethane as raw materials at the pressure were studied. The effects of raw material ratio, reaction temperature, reaction time, catalyst and alkali on the yield were also investigated. |
