| Abstract: | In terms of the filling materials and compaction method the factors influencing the compaction effect of highway embankment are analyzed. And according to various filling materials such as earth, sand or gravel different compaction methods are introduced. In the end the factors influencing the selection of compacting equipments are presented. |
