| Abstract: | This paper gives mathematical formula of the striking velocity,striking impulse and striking force when the beater strike the cotton from the feed rollers in small tufts.The formula includes all opening processing parameter.The influence of the velocity of the beater,the weight of the beater and the velocity of the feeding cotton on opening are also discussed. |
