Direct coupling from a GaAs laser into a single-mode fibre |

| Abstract: | Ways of coupling directly to a monomode fibre by neutralising the end reflection from the laser and then using the face of the fibre core as a cavity mirror are proposed. The condition is derived for the optimum transfer of power from the laser resonator to the fibre transmission line. |
