Abstract: | The design and implementation of FPGA-and-USB-based control board for quantum experiments are discussed. The usage of quantum true random number generator,control-logic in FPGA and communication with computer through USB protocol are proposed in this paper. Programmable controlled signal input and output ports are implemented. The error-detections of data frame header and frame length are designed. This board has been used in our decoy-state based quantum key distribution (QKD) system successfully. |
