| 摘 要： | 本文针对快速识别汽车牌照提出了一个实用的算法．主要在预处理开始就充分考虑如何突出车牌的字符特征，并在实际定位过程中充分利用这些特征．从而达到快速以识别并定位汽车牌照的目的．

| Abstract: | Requirement of automatic recognition of vehicle license numbers from their plates is increasing for social services such as traffic control, etc. However the fast locating algorithm of the plate is the key technique to be solved. In this paper, a new fast locating algorithm is expressed and the effect is proved to be better than other similar algorithms. |
