超磁致伸缩材料Tb_(0.27)Fe_(2-x)的超声学研究

摘    要:用超声脉冲回波重迭法测量了超磁致伸缩材料Tb_(0.27)Dy_(0.73)Fe_(2-x)系列样品在不同磁场下的超声波速度,给出了该系列样品的弹性常数随磁场的变化情况,并对实验结果作了初步的解释和探讨。

Abstract:The longitudinal and transverse ultra-sonic wave velocities for the isotropic giant magne-tostrictive material Tb_(0.27)Dy_(0.73)Fe_(2-x)under differentmagnetic fields were measured by the ultrasonicpulse echo overlap method in fixed carrier frequencyof 5 MHz.The values of the elastic constants C_(11),C_(12),C_(44) for Tb_(0.27)Dy_(0.73)Fe_(2-x) in different magneticfields are calculated from the sound velocities.Theresults show that C44 does not change as the magnetic field H varied.But during magnetization of the material the elastic constancc C_(11) decrtases first asthe magnetic field H is lower,then it almost keepsunchange within certain H region which is determined by the different iron composition in material.When the field H continuously increase C_(11) goes upsharply and then falls down.From relation of C_(11)vs.Hwe may predict that there are more than onephysical mechanism during rnagnetization process ofisotropic giant magnetostrictive materials.
