Abstract:Making use of the experimental data provided by bamboo knot key task group,a comprehensive analysis is made on the forming process of bamboo knots both at the biting and the throwing stages(respectively called front and back bamboo-knots). Therefore the forming mechanism of the bamboo knot and reasons for the distinct differences between front and back bamboo-knots are revealed.
