云南傣族小乘佛教建筑比较研究

该文在回顾了小乘佛教的缘起,传播及发展特点之后,从佛寺的选址,形制布局和佛殿,佛塔的外观造型等方面比较了云南傣族小乘佛教建筑和内地汉族地区的佛教建筑以及东南亚地区小乘佛教建筑的渊源关系,并据此认为云南傣族小乘佛教建筑乃是傣族群众在结合具体地域条件的基础上吸收,借鉴其他民族的优秀文化传统后独具风格的再创造。

A Comparative Study on Hinayana Buddhism architecture of Tai Minority in Yunan Province

After a brief introduction on the origin and development of Hinayana Buddism, this article explores several characters of Hinayana Buddhism architecture in Tai Minority area in Yunnan Province by comparing its temples and pagodas with those in inland China as well as those in South East Asia, Hence a conclusion can be drawn that although deeply influenced by the religious architecture of SouthE a s t Asia, the religious architecture of Tai Minority is a creative integration of its own.
