| Abstract: | Some common defects in the empiric operation of penetration, ductility indexes and softening point tests were analyzed, and some knotty problems existing in the said three main tests were put forward based on detailed data. Finally, some recommendations for improving "The Test Rules of Asphalt and Asphalt Mixture" were presented. |
