基于IP组播的分布式数字视频监控系统

提出并实现了一种先进的基于IP组播的分布式数字视频监控系统。该系统采用IP组播技术实现监控视频的多点传输，可以大大节省网络带宽资源，提高数据传送的效率。同时，该系统引入专门的视频调配服务器来有效地控制和调配监控视频的接入和访问服务，保证网络不至于因视频接入的无限制增加而造成整个网络拥塞的发生，确保了整个系统运行的安全可靠。该系统另外一个显著的特点是在其网络客户端采用了微软公司的DirectShow技术来实现MPEG—l视频流的解码回放。

A Distributed Digital Video Surveillance System Based on IP Multicast

This paper introduces and implements a distributed digital video sur veillance system based on IP Multicast. This system makes use of IP multicast te chnology to transmit video data to multi-destination simultaneously so that it w ill dramatically save network band resource and improve the efficiency of data t ransmission. At the same time, this system introduces a video schedule server to effectively schedule connections of video data into a network and control the a ccess to the video data, which can guarantee this system would work well and net work congestion would not happen due to unlimited increasing connections of vide o data into the network. Meanwhile, this system has another remarkable character istic, which is it adopts Microsoft's DirectShow technology to decompress and pl ayback MPEG-1 video stream on its client ends.
