| Abstract: | The synthetic routines of glyphosate, one kind of herbicide, based on iminodiacetic acid （IDA） and glycine were reviewed. Then the environment-friendly synthesis of glyphosate was discussed and was supposed to be a promising potential and prospective routine in future. |
