| Abstract: | This paper analyzes the importance of properly selecting the engineering materials, explores the general principles of material selection and produces the design ideas and technological process, namely, performance required by material corresponding microsturcute proper selection of material and heat treatment process. It also expounds the method and procedure of material selection and is concluded with the exploration on the selection and design of constructional components and tool components. |
