| Abstract: | Alternative fuel is one of key solutions to the shortage of oil and gas in China. Dimethyl Ether (DME) has been widely recognized as a multi-source, multi-purpose clean fuel with a great prospect. This article reviews the development of DME as alternative fuel around the world. And it analyzes the benefits, advantages as well as key issues for China to promote the production and use of DME as fuel. |
