Abstract: | A means of preventing anomalous fish kills in static bioassay testing of ammonia-containing treated wastewaters is described. Low flow O2 is used instead of air in order to prevent CO2 stripping, subsequent pH rise and increases in the NH3 levels during the course of the test. |
