| Abstract: | In this paper,some applications of electromagnetic field in the solidification and shaping of moltenmetals are briefly reviewed- The theoretical base of Electromagnetic Processing of Materials (EPM) is described. I he importance of computer simulation in solving EMP problems and its future development is also indicated. |
