自适应背景预测技术在红外弱小目标检测中的应用

摘    要:文章总结了自适应背景预测技术在红外弱小目标检测领域的典型应用,分析了线性和非线性自适应算法的优缺点。对传统的LMS自适应背景预测算法进行了改进。改进的算法利用连续帧中目标的运动特性,通过迭代得到滤波器最佳权值向量。试验结果说明,改进后的算法有效抑制了由云层边缘产生的虚警,提高了处理非平稳、非线性杂波背景和低信噪比图像的能力.

Abstract:The typical applications of adaptive background prediction technology in weak and small infrared target detection are summarized in this paper.The advantages and disadvangtages of linear and nonlinear adaptive algorithms are analyzed.The traditional LMS algorithm is improved.The improved algorithm processes the consecutive frames according to the motion characteristics of targets. The experimental results have shown that this algorithm can effectively suppress the false alarm caused by the edge of cloud and its capability to process unstable and nonlinear clutter background and low SNR images is improved.
