Abstract:Soybean isoflavone is a kind of functional components mainly existing in soybean. Recent researches have discovered its physiological functions, including anti-cancer activities, preventing atherosclerosis and osteoporosis activities. The recent progress on physiological functions and development of isoflavone and its application in the functional foods were reviewed.
