EAST超导磁体SUS316LN不锈钢管焊接工艺

摘    要:EAST纵场(TF)和极向场(PF)线圈采用迫流冷却超导导体(CICC),该导体由Nb-Ti超导线经多级绞缆绞成超导缆和外加壁厚1.5mm的铠甲组成。铠甲由SUS316LN奥氏体不锈钢无缝钢管(每根长约10m)通过自动氩弧焊对接成600m圆管,超导缆首先穿入薄壁圆管铠甲中,然后缩径成方,形成方截面的600 mCICC导体。着重介绍在研制CICC导体过程中焊接和质量控制两个重要工艺技术及研究成果。

Abstract:Force flow cooling superconducting cable- in- conduit conductor (CICC) was used for both of EAST toroidal field (TT) and polnidal field (PF) coils. The conductor consisted of multi - stage Nb - Ti superconducting cable and 1 .5 nun thick square jacket which was automatic argon - arc welded by SUS316LN austenitic stainless steel seamless tubes (about 10 m length each) to fonn 600 m round pipe. The cable was pulled through a thin wall circular jacket and then compacted to square cross- section conductor. The welding procedure, quality control and research findings were introduced.
