Discrete solitons by the bilinear transformation |

| Abstract: | A discrete-time sine-Gordon equation is obtained by applying the bilinear transformation to the inverse scattering representation of the sine-Gordon equation. The corresponding discrete soliton solutions and Bäcklund transformations are presented. |
