| Abstract: | Blue-and-white painting is one of Jingdezhen＇s traditional decorative forms. The freehand blue-and-white painting with its simplified brushwork and adequate blank space is exceptionally high acclaimed. This paper examines the difference in the choice of subjects between contemporary and traditional freehand blue-andwhite paintings as influenced by the time. |
