| Abstract: | Columns with variant sectyon are qpplied generally in enginllring. To find out precise resolu - tions of critical loads of columns is difficult. By means of collocation method in the MWH, criti - cal loads of stepwise columns were calculated. This method is simple and practice, having little calculation works. It has some significance engineering and desinghn of columns with variant section. |
