| 摘 要： | 叠词是一种普遍的语言现象,应用于多种语言中。与英语相比,叠词在汉语中的使用更为频繁。本文主要从"三美论"的角度讨论元曲中叠词的英译,尤其侧重许渊冲译本《元曲三百首》中叠词的不同翻译策略。通过讨论"三美论"翻译原则以及《元曲三百首》中叠词的翻译,希望元曲这一中国古典文学形式能引起翻译界更多的关注,像了解唐诗宋词那样加深读者对元曲的了解。

| Abstract: | Reduplication is a common linguistic form in many languages. Compared with its counterpart in English, the usage of reduplication in Chinese is a lot more common. This paper discusses the English translation of reduplications in the Yuan songs by Professor Xu Yuanchong from the perspective of Three Beauties Rule and studies different translation approaches in the hope of arousing enough attention from the translation circles to this unique Chinese literary form and helping the readers gain an insight into Yuan songs. |
