摘    要:目前国内熔炼AZS材料的生产,都是用三相电弧炉,从投料、电弧加热熔炼、澄清到浇铸周期地进行,对3t级电炉,通常是3h左右一个周期,每次浇铸时倾出大部分熔体,而留下一部分于炉底,转入下一个周期;而国外同样规模电炉,每次仅浇出炉内的三分之一到四分之一熔体,一个周期也仅2h左右,同时,他们还采用荧光仪快速分析进行炉前熔料的化学组成校正调节。我国目前还没有条件这样生产。国内炉体外壳同样采用水冷却

Abstract:The residual blosk left in the bottom of a 3-ton three-phase electric arc furnace for melting AZS refractories was prepared into samples for this study. The sampling was conducted perpendicularly from bottom up to a height of 30 cm, of which half were prepared into polished sections. Taking every 5mm as a section, an IBM PC microcomputer, a Nikon high-power reflective microscope, and a pseudocolour image analyzer were jointly used to measure the volume concentration of primary crystalline phase ZrO3. the size variation of crystals, and the quantitative data of grain size. Crystal size distribution curvas were also worked out. In addition, the microstructure of the sections were observed one by one with a Japan made Olympus VANOX optical microscope. The another half of the samples were divided into 30 sections, 10 mm for each, and prepared into powder specimens. A quantitative multianalysis on the chemical compositions of the powder specimens was then performed by means of a PW1404 X-ray fluorescence spestroscope of Philips, Holland, and the qualitative analysis on phase was made for the powder specimens of all 30 sections with the help of a Siemens D-500 X-ray diffraotometsr. The analytical result shows that there is a more significant segregation of chemical compositions existing in the residual block of electric arc furnace, and the segregation has its own pattern. The chemical composition and the microstruetural morphology of the block are related with the technological conditions, such as batch compositions, power for melting, temperature and time. For improving melting process, and the quality performancea of products, some suggestions and instructive scientifle bases have thus been offered.
