| Abstract: | In this paper the energy consumption in casting\|iron line fittings is analyzed and the energy consumption in aluminium line fittings are tested. Based on calculation and tests result the feasibility and necessity of using aluminium line fittings in transmission lines and substations is put forward. To use aluminium line fittings will be an imperative trend. |
