| Abstract: | Based on the target specific information offered by the high range resolution radar, radar target identification (RTID) by a multilayer feedforward nerual network (MFNN) is investigated. The implicit way in which the MFNN performs a nonlinear discriminant analysis is discussed. Numerical simulations have demonstrated that the MFNN offers promise for the RTID system design. |
