Technology of Multi-sensor Information Fusion

This paper overviews the development of mufti-sensor information fusion . The concept of information fusion is introduced including the definition, fusion models and fusion algorithms. Then, conclude the applications of multi-sensor information fusion and the application status is discussed in robots, fault diagnosis. The information technology development is fast but its theory is waiting for perfect, so there are some questions on fusion algorithm, model and relevancy ambiguous and etc. Finally, the further research tendencies are dis cussed.
