Contract Management for Construction Units

This paper elaborates the significance of contract management for construction units. As contracts are key reference for the management to control project quality, progress and investment, the paper discusses how contract management imposes influence on entity＂ s economic benefit from three aspects, which can be summarized as first, enhancing contract signing, second, giving weight to contract tracing and third, strengthen- ing contract legal awareness. In a nutshell, entity should put more efforts in contract management to ensure its financial interest and take initiative to establish a goal for long-term contract management, by which would nurture a more standardized construction business.
