摘    要:虚拟制造技术就是通过计算机虚拟模型,模拟产品制造过程,从而预测、检测、评价产品的性能和可制造性等。就虚拟制造的内涵、分类和主要特点,以及所包含的关键技术进行了多方面的探讨,并展望了虚拟制造技术在钢管行业中的应用前景。

Abstract:The virtual manufacturing technology means simulating the manufacturing process of a given product with computer-made virtual model in a bid to forecast, inspect and evaluate the performance and manu- facturability of the product. The major aspects of the virtual manufacturing technology are discussed, including the definition, category and main features as well as key techniques, etc. Moreover, foreseen in the paper is the application prospect of the virtual manufacturing technology in steel tube industry.
