| Abstract: | Three existing 40 t AOD converters in TISCO were revamped and successfully commissioned in April 2004 with increased tap size to 45 t. Mainly ferritic and austenitic stainless steel grades are produced by applying the duplex process. This paper outlines the main features of the project as well as the highlights of the AOD performance. |
