| Abstract: | The word of theme is frequently used in current landscape design. Based on the example of theme in landscape design competition for International Competition for Landscaping of Forest Park and Central Zone in Olympic Green, this research explores the relation between theme and site layout and reach at a conclusion that the theme in contemporary landscape design in China has confusing definition. At the end of this article it especially emphases that thought about words to some degree directs most of the contemporary landscape design in China. |
