| Abstract: | According to the losing efficacy state of the gear teeth in the driving gear box of the dryers of the 3940-type paper machine in the lst papermaking plant,Yueyang Paper Mill, the form and mechanism of gear ineffectiveness as well as the material used and heat treatment conditions for the gear are discussed based on the analysis of the force exerted on the gear. The measures for slowing gear effectiveness are also discussed. |
