| Abstract: | Purified laccase from a fungus (family Chaetomiaceae) was used for the enzymatic oxidation of bisphenol A and nonylphenol, endocrine-disrupting chemicals. It rapidly oxidized both chemicals in the absence of mediators and within 24 h their estrogenic activities were completely removed. |
