旋转抛物面实时成象的等灰度曲线算法

摘    要:本文提出一种全新的,可推广至一般二次曲面的旋转抛物面实时成象的等灰曲度线算法。这种算法只需绘出旋转抛物面上的漫反射和镜面反射等灰度曲线组,就能得到具有高度真实感的旋转抛物面图像。这种算法的计算量远远小于传统的逐点计算灰度法,并且适于用并行流水硬件结构实现。理论分析和软件仿真证明:这种算法非常适合于二次曲面实时成象。

Abstract:This paper presents a new algorithm for realtime generation of rotating paraboloid images,which can be extended into quadric surfaces.The algorithm only needs to plot a set of equi-intensity curves of diffuse reflection and specular reflection on the rotating paraboloid,and then realistic image can be obtained.This algorithm drastically reduces the amount of computation compared to traditional algorithm of computing intensity for each pixel and the algorithm is suited to implementation with parallel pipeline hardware.Theoretic analysis and software simulation have proved that the algorithm is well appropriate for real-time generation of quadric surface images.
