Abstract:To investigate the immune activities of Schisandra Chinensis residue fermented by Cordyceps Militaris.90 crossbred weaned piglets (Duroc×Landrace×Yorkshire) of 28-day-old were randomly allocated to blank control group (basic diet) , positive control group (basic diet plus 0.5% Schisandra Chinensis) and treatment group (basic diet plus 0.2% fermentative fungal substance of Schisandra Chinensis residue) . The experiment lasted 21d. Samples were obtained every week. Splenic T lymphocyte subgroups were measured by flow cytometry (FCM) . The proliferation effect on splenic lymphocyte was observed by CCK-8 method. The serum IgG, IgA and IgM contents were detected by ELISA. Results showed the proportion of CD3+, CD3+CD4+and CD4+/CD8+T-cells in positive control and treatment groups were significantly higher that of blank control group (p<0.05 or p<0.01) . Besides, the effect of proliferation activities on splenic T lymphocytes to Con A in positive control and treatment groups was significant difference with blank control group (p<0.01) . Compared with blank control group, there was a tendency to increase the serum IgA, IgM and IgM in positive control group and treatment group. The study confirmed that Schisandra Chinensis residue fermented by Cordyceps Militaris could improve the cellular and humoral immunologic function of weaned piglets.
