Some Thoughts on the Preparation of Atlas of Baotou

In this paper,social basis for the atlas preparation,together with the basic introduction of Atlas of Baotou,has been presented. Procedure of atlas preparation has been introduced;and design criteria, overall design, production printing, as well as related applications and social benefits,have been discussed in a systematic manner. In particular,overall design of the atlas and production printing have been introduced in detail so as to achieve a in-depth learning of the work.
